The International Relations Office of the Hellenic Mediterranean University participates in the IAPP-Greece action, with an aim to strengthen its collaborations with the US Institutions

HMU has started its joint activities with the York College in Pennsylvania, George Mayson in Washington, and Rutgers in New Jersey. These joint actions involved: (a) invited delivered lectures to the US and Greek students (in the field of Tourism); (b) delivered colloquial talks in the fields of Teaching Science, Materials Science, and Social Work; and (c) the organization of joint symposia (in the field of Social Work & Nutrition)

Two memoranda of understanding have been signed with York College and Rutgers; while the other one with George Mason is under process. In the future we plan the organization of summer schools in Crete – stay tuned with our actions

Recently the IRO of the HMU has announced the beginning of a series of colloquial talks, called ‘HMU travels in the USA‘ where Greek scientists in the US will present their research and studies opportunities in their Institutions. Furthermore, collaboration schemes with the HMU scientists will be discussed. The talks will happen every two weeks, every Wednesday afternoon at 18.00 starting on the 3rd of November.
