Technische Hochschule Nuernberg Georg Simon Ohm – Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Precision Engineering and Information Technology
POTENTIAL – not yet offered / not confirmed
🟡 Thin: English catalogue exists but has no real electronics/telecom courses; only foundation courses (mostly taught for other programmes)
Students from this partner already study with us. 2 students from Technische Hochschule Nuernberg Georg Simon Ohm came to the HMU Department of Electronic Engineering on Erasmus+ (2025/2026), so the two programmes already work together in one direction. This page looks at the other direction: what HMU Electronic Engineering students could take there.
English-taught programme: The Ohm publishes a per-semester English course catalogue (WiSe 2026/27: 18 courses, SoSe 2026: about 35) open to all exchange students. Engineering content is limited to basic courses from Mechanical Engineering and International Business and Technology plus some computing and maths electives; no dedicated electronics, communications or embedded courses in English. Incoming exchange contact: rebecca.ehrig@th-nuernberg.de.
Potential matches only. No HMU Electronic Engineering student has studied at this partner yet, so there are no recognised courses. The matches below are an indicative assessment by the IRO, based on the partner’s published English programme vs the HMU Electronic Engineering study guide. They must be evaluated and approved by the departmental academic coordinator before any agreement is used.
