This BIP introduces undergraduate student to emerging functional materials and their applications in sensing, Internet of Things, robotics and automation. It covers organic semiconductors, two-dimensional materials, perovskites and metal oxides with emphasis on intelligent device integration. Students engage in presentation and laboratory visits, gaining exposure to the research ecosystems of the Hellenic Mediterranean University and Crete. The programme promote interdisciplinary learning research awareness and professional developments.
