About this course

Expected learning outcomes

The acquaintance of students with the basic concepts of beekeeping, description of the bee and analysis of its behavior and activities. Focus on issues related to beekeeping products, their nutritional properties and possible uses by humans. Approach to beekeeping operations and annual planning on a case-by-case basis. The aim is to acquire preliminary, but comprehensive, knowledge about the overall spectrum of beekeeping as a science, with less emphasis on practical beekeeping issues of products of winter and spring cereals and legumes.
